ABOUT ME

I help brands make films and content. I think stuff should get better as it gets made.

I’ve worked at ad agencies like Isle of Any, 72 & Sunny, Droga 5, Goodby Silverstein, Wieden + Kennedy, and Leo Burnett.

I sincerely love people and enjoy leading big productions, but I’m not afraid to get hands-on when shooting with a skeleton crew.

Films I’ve made have appeared on PBS, NPR, Creative Arts, and in The New York Times. Ads I’ve made have been honored at D&AD, AICP, and the Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Film Craft.

OTHER THINGS

I shoot my own documentary shorts and I made a feature documentary called Chasing Bubbles.

I lived on a sailboat called DISCO, about which I kept a blog.

I love funky old cars. I restored and drive this Volvo 240.

I’m originally from Chicago and currently live with my family in Oakland, CA.
